Our Story

Founded by a group of passionate agriculturalists, rodeo athletes, and community leaders, the Western Roots Foundation was born out of a shared commitment to preserving the western way of life and investing in its future. What began as a grassroots effort to support local youth has grown into a vibrant non-profit organization that bridges tradition and progress. Whether it’s through a Saturday morning farmers market or a scholarship for a young rodeo competitor, our work is rooted in the belief that strong communities grow from strong foundations.

We empower youth in agriculture and rodeo by providing opportunities for growth, education, and leadership, while celebrating and preserving the values of rural and western culture.

A future where every young person connected to the land, livestock, and the arena has the tools, resources, and support they need to thrive—and where communities rally together to keep western traditions alive for generations to come.
