Western Roots is proud to support young rodeo athletes who demonstrate grit, dedication, and a deep love for the sport. Our Rodeo Youth Scholarships provide financial assistance for entry fees, travel expenses, and gear—ensuring that cost is never a barrier to chasing dreams in the arena. Each scholarship recipient embodies the spirit of rodeo and serves as a role model in their community.

For students continuing their rodeo careers at the collegiate level, our Collegiate Rodeo Scholarships recognize excellence both in and out of the arena. These scholarships help cover tuition, books, and rodeo-related expenses, allowing student-athletes to pursue higher education while staying connected to the western lifestyle. We believe in developing champions in the classroom and the arena.

-PRORODEO Permit Scholarship Program

The Rising Roots Permit Sponsorship program is dedicated to helping the next generation of rodeo athletes take their first official step into the professional arena by covering the cost of their PRCA Permit Card. This scholarship is intended for youth and collegiate rodeo athletes who have demonstrated exceptional talent, leadership, and a strong commitment to the sport of rodeo. The Rising Roots Permit Scholarship Program to designed to break down financial barriers and encourage high-potential young rodeo competitors to pursue their professional careers with the PRCA by covering the cost of their PRCA permit card and providing early mentorship and guidance within the PRORODEO system.

Held weekly during the growing season, the Western Roots Farmers Market is more than just a place to buy produce—it's a platform for community, education, and entrepreneurship. Local growers, artisans, and youth vendors come together to share their products, stories, and passion for rural living. The market also features live music, kids’ activities, and workshops that make every Saturday special.

Our workshops are designed to equip youth with real-world skills that foster independence and leadership. From livestock handling and small business development to public speaking and western heritage education, each session is hands-on and community-led.
